Salary: £32939.83per annum plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full time 40 hours per week, working Monday – Friday 8am -4.30pm, once training is completed on call will be require covering 1 in 10 weeks.

What you’ll do as a Plumber
You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Carry out routine general plumbing and fitting work, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
  • Complete fault finding and defect rectification on a range of plant and equipment.
  • Install new plant and apparatus as defined and specified.
  • Support colleagues across the FM service with multi‑trade tasks.
  • Maintain and update pre‑planned maintenance schedules.
  • Produce reports and recommendations based on investigations into plant and equipment performance.
  • Assist with specifying and obtaining spare parts to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Escort contractors in line with site procedures.
  • Work safely at all times, meeting statutory and local regulations.

 

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A recognised Plumbing qualification (C&G or NVQ).
  • The ability to self‑motivate and manage your workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work to tight timescales in a logical and methodical way.
  • A proactive, flexible approach and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

 

Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
