As a Multi-Skilled Support Technician in our Defence Aviation and Space team, you’ll support a wide range of technical activities across varied environments, working closely with customers, colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality services. Your work will have purpose, helping to maintain critical infrastructure and services while delivering positive outcomes for our customers.

What you’ll do as a Multi-Skilled Support Technician
- Carry out a variety of multi-skilled activities in line with customer requirements and operational priorities.
- Assess tasks within your skill range and communicate recommended actions and potential impacts to colleagues.
- Coordinate effectively with team members to support service delivery and operational success.
- Respond promptly to verbal and written requests from customers and stakeholders.
- Support the identification and development of new work opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in on-site and external training activities to maintain and develop technical capability.
Does this sound like you?
- UK residency with the ability to attain and maintain UK national security clearance.
- Proven experience delivering quality outcomes in challenging information technology and infrastructure environments.
- Working knowledge of copper and fibre cable installation.
- Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a commitment to health and safety, continuous learning and high standards of delivery.

Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
