As a Labourer – Rotary our Integrated Merlin Operational Support (IMOS) team, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment at RNAS Culdrose. Your work will support critical operational activities by ensuring facilities and work areas are maintained to the highest standards.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in creating an environment where engineering and operational colleagues can perform their duties safely and effectively. Our work touches lives through the support we provide to key defence operations, and your contribution will help deliver a positive impact every day.

 

What you’ll do as a Labourer – Rotary

 

  • Perform all tasks in accordance with Line Manager and Supervisor instructions.
  • Carry out tasks as directed in the cleaning of aircraft and aircraft components.
  • Maintain general work areas and site facilities to a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Comply with Royal Navy Support requirements, the Serco Management System, and all relevant engineering regulations.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Attend and successfully complete all training required for the role as directed by management.

Vetting and checks:

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
