As a Cost and Billing Allocation Coordinator in our Serco Health team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accurate allocation, monitoring and reporting of costs across Hard Facilities Management activities delivered under the South Bucks Hospital PFI contract. Your work will help support contractual performance, financial accuracy and operational excellence across a busy healthcare environment.

Every day, your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure hospital estate services are delivered efficiently and compliantly. By providing robust cost management, reporting and administrative support, you’ll help create impactful solutions that support patient care, maintain trust with our customer and contribute to a positive impact on communities.

What you’ll do as a Cost and Billing Allocation Coordinator

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Track reactive maintenance costs and prepare accurate recharge submissions for the client.
  • Monitor reactive spend and support monthly payment applications in line with contractual requirements.
  • Process invoices, manage purchase orders and assist with financial reconciliations.
  • Prepare cost reports, summaries and variance analysis for management review.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audit, reporting and document control activities.
  • Liaise with operational teams and other stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate financial and performance information.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
  • A recognised qualification in office administration or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
