Make a meaningful difference in one of the UK’s most important public service contracts. Serco is seeking a Data Transformation Analyst to help strengthen data quality, governance, and analytical capability across the Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract.
We’re looking for a creative and proactive problem-solver — someone who can investigate issues, build dashboards, and help turn complex data into clear insight for operational teams.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and continuously improve our issue-tracking processes for data quality.
- Build prototype dashboards in Excel and Power BI that highlight data issues.
- Engage with teams across the organisation to raise awareness of data quality.
- Investigate data problems and document root causes and recommended fixes.
- Support the development of better data governance, vocabulary, and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel, Power BI, and/or Power Query (M).
- A good understanding of data modelling concepts (relationships, star schema, DAX context).
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Confidence in managing conversations around process change and continuous improvement.
- A proactive, innovative approach to problem-solving and self-development.
