Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependant on experience plus company car and excellent benefits

As a J&I FM Project Manager in our Justice and Immigration UK and Europe team, you’ll lead and deliver capital project works and client‑instructed projects across multiple sites, ensuring each one creates a positive and lasting impact.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the quality, safety and performance of essential built‑environment projects. Your work will help create safer, more resilient facilities and support the future of services that touch lives across the UK.
What you’ll do as a J&I FM Project Manager
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Lead and deliver multiple mechanical, electrical and refurbishment projects on‑time, within scope and within budget.
- Coordinate internal teams, FM colleagues, operational leads, procurement and third‑party partners to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support the development of project briefs, scopes and objectives, ensuring technical and commercial feasibility.
- Manage project performance through detailed cradle‑to‑grave project plans, reporting regularly to senior management.
- Engage with manufacturers and suppliers to shape specifications aligned with contractual and industry standards.
- Oversee financial and commercial elements of projects, including budgets, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitor and manage project risks, escalating issues when required and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicating clearly to influence effective and informed decisions.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
- APMP qualification and strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Experience delivering multiple technical projects in the built environment.
- Strong understanding and experience of CDM Regulations 2015.
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
- A technical background to degree level, ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering is desirable but not essential
- PRINCE2 certification, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification.
Vetting and checks:
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
