Salary & Benefits: £33,777.43 + company car (Including personal use)
Shifts: 40 hours p/wk. working on a shift rota basis including some days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Location: Liverpool Field Service Area – North Wales/Cheshire/Merseyside/Lancashire- Home based with regional travel.
Training: Our induction programme will include both virtual and face to face training. This may require overnight stays at a venue depending on your location
Vetting: Here at EMS, we handle sensitive information, therefore, there is a minimum requirement that successful candidates take part in UK BPSS level vetting. Some roles may require a higher level. In addition, you will also be required to complete Serco standard vetting. Unfortunately, you will be unable to start employment with us until clearance has been awarded, so your proactive engagement is key to avoid any delay to your potential start date.

Serco has been contracted by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to deliver Electronic Monitoring Services across England and Wales. This service helps enforce curfews, supports rehabilitation, and enhances public safety while addressing prison overcrowding.
We are looking for a Field Service Supervisor to join our Electronic Monitoring team. You will play a key role in leading and supporting our Field Monitoring Officers, ensuring service efficiency, quality, and compliance.
This is a shift-based role covering 10am–1am on a rotating roster, including weekends and bank holidays.
You’ll be entrusted to:
• Ensure that all standard operational procedures are adhered to, and that contract compliance is maintained.
• Provide effective leadership to promote and maintain good working relationships.
• People Management including Sickness Absence Management, Performance Review – 1:1, appraisals, team meetings and coaching.
• Resourcing – Reviewing and Maintaining Capacity Plans, work rotas & annual leave
• Disciplinary and grievance process management.
• Communicate effectively with the team to ensure their knowledge and understanding of business issues and process changes is current and consistent.
• Support the FSM role and provide effective cover as required.
• Manage the equipment audit process to minimise losses and ensure accuracy of data.
• Identify areas for improvement & implement change.
• Manage quality and compliance through data analysis and carrying out tasks as required by the quality management framework.
• Minimise SLA failures through data analysis and working collaboratively with colleagues to identify improvement opportunities.

• Recognised management qualification or similar management experience.
• Performance Management Experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of the business objectives and values
• Results focused and able to manage a team of people to achieve stretching targets.
• It’s essential that you have a full UK Driving Licence and at least a year of driving experience.
