You’ll play a key role in driving positive impact for the communities we support. By leading on design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our induction and learning programmes, you’ll help ensure people gain the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to progress.

What you’ll do as a Lead CEE
You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Lead on understanding and translating CEE contract needs into effective training and development solutions
  • Lead the design and ongoing enhancement of training programmes, ensuring they meet commissioner, regulatory, legislative, compliance, Ofsted, and awarding‑body requirements
  • Lead on measurement and performance data to inform customers, commissioners, and continuous improvement
  • Lead the delivery of efficient and effective induction programmes across different client areas
  • Deliver training interventions both face‑to‑face and remotely in line with programme needs
  • Ensure inclusive and accessible training aligned with Serco’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) principles
  • Maintain awareness of safeguarding, Prevent, learner welfare, and health and safety requirements
  • Support strong collaboration across segment leads, trainers, internal teams, and delivery partners
  • Contribute to planning, policy formation, and programme evaluation
  • Build partnerships with external organisations to support CEE programme development
  • Support the onboarding and development of trainers, fostering collaboration, best practice, and high standards
  • Identify and manage operational risks related to programme delivery
  • Support participants, learners, and agents with tailored development to improve job readiness and outcomes

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • Current knowledge of CEE contracts and programmes
  • Experience leading teams and delivering learning programmes to an “Expected Standard” (or equivalent) quality level
  • Minimum Level 3 in Education and Training or CIPD (or working towards)
  • Experience designing and delivering adult vocational and/or non‑vocational programmes, including blended and digital learning
  • Strong planning, organisation, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working under pressure to meet customer expectations
  • A commitment to personal development and continuous learning
  • Desirable: Team Leader Level 3, and/or experience working within regulated quality environments such as Ofsted or awarding bodies
