You’ll take ownership of delivering a full programme of Hard FM projects, guiding them from concept through design, approval and delivery, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and aligned with the needs of the people they serve. Your work will help shape and maintain the environments that enable high‑quality healthcare for the future.

What you’ll do as a Senior Project Manager
You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Lead the planning, prioritisation, and delivery of all Hard FM projects and programmes in line with CDM2015 legislation and Serco methodologies aligned with the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Oversee a varied portfolio of project types including Minor New Works, asset lifecycle projects, and capital variations.
  • Manage interdependencies across the full programme, ensuring effective resource allocation, robust governance, and on-time delivery.
  • Produce high‑quality documentation and reporting for senior leadership, board meetings, and customer forums.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and insights shape decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide expert challenge, guidance, and support to Project Managers, promoting high standards of delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the project team, supporting performance, capability, and engagement across the group.

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • A relevant degree, Hard FM qualifications and/or significant experience delivering complex construction or technical projects.
  • Professional project management credentials such as Prince2 and evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • A strong track record of delivering large, complex projects involving technical and business change.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience of programme governance, risk management, budgeting, and performance monitoring within a multi‑project environment.

Vetting and checks:
This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme, which involves a detailed check of spent and unspent convictions and other relevant information to ensure safeguarding compliance.
