Salary: £ 33,295.00- £41,483.00 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Monday- Friday 36 hours per week

As a Stores Supervisor in our Health team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of estates maintenance, projects and soft FM services at Forth Valley Hospital. You’ll lead on effective stock control, making sure consumables, tools and critical components are available when needed to support safe, high‑quality patient environments.
Your work will help create impactful solutions by maintaining high standards of logistics, supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvement across the stores function. Through accuracy, collaboration and a strong customer focus, you’ll help ensure services are delivered in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do as a Stores Supervisor
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Manage equipment and stock in line with agreed parameters to support efficient service delivery.
- Identify required stock items and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Source and order materials, ensuring value for money within agreed limits.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure secure stock control.
- Issue tools and equipment on both temporary and permanent loan.
- Allocate work to additional stores colleagues and supervise daily activity.
- Organise and oversee monthly and annual stocktakes.
- Support continuous improvement within the stores environment.
- Purchase consumables for all services in line with operational needs.
- Comply with Quality Assurance manuals and Health and Safety policies.
- Undertake role‑specific training as required, including authorised or competent person appointments.
- Stores control utilising CAFM.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Relevant experience within logistics or stores operations, ideally at a supervisory or managerial level.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- A customer‑focused mindset with high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to analyse information and draw clear conclusions.
- Financial and commercial awareness.
- Experience working in facilities management or hospital services environments (desirable).
- Strong IT skills and confidence using systems such as SAP and CAFM (Concept Evolution) (desirable)
- Team player
Vetting and checks:
This role requires membership of the PVG Scheme, which involves a detailed check of spent and unspent convictions and other relevant information to ensure safeguarding compliance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can provide any necessary support to help you carry out your responsibilities.
