Schedule: Full time 40hours per week, 8am - 4.30pm

As an Escort in our Justice and Immigration Facilities Management team, you’ll enable safe, secure and well‑managed access for contractors working within the establishment. Your work ensures the environment remains safe, compliant and well‑maintained — helping us create spaces that support positive futures for the people who live and work there.
You’ll play a meaningful role in making sure essential maintenance and improvement tasks can take place securely. Every day, you’ll help create the conditions that keep our sites running smoothly and support the wider team to deliver a safe, respectful environment where our work has real purpose and a positive impact on communities.
What you’ll do as an Escort
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Carry out all assigned duties safely, following statutory regulations and any local requirements
- Ensure all contractors and their tools are correctly accounted for, securely managed and fully compliant with written instructions
- Support the wider FM team by assisting with routine maintenance and repairs within your training and capability
- Complete and submit all work‑related documentation to relevant colleagues
- Maintain clean, tidy, safe and secure work areas
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, contractors and others, using both written and verbal communication
- Conduct regular inspections of external areas to ensure they remain clean, safe and presentable

Vetting and checks:
This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
