Job type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: 39 per week, 5 out of 7 days including weekends, mainly evening / overnight shits
Salary: £26,500 to £28,000 per annum + excellent benefits
We’re looking to recruit for an exciting opportunity for an Elite Sport Caretaker to join our vibrant team at Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre, a prestigious venue where elite athletes and Olympians train.
Alongside being a top-tier training centre, Lilleshall also hosts a thriving conference and events hub, featuring recently refurbished rooms and scenic outdoor spaces perfect for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
As the Elite Sport Caretaker, the successful candidate will maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the building, at all times to an elite level, to make sure we deliver a world class training environment for our British Gymnastics Facility and the GB Archery facility by ensuring their elite training facilities are clean, safe and prepared ready for use. The buildings are used by pathway athletes up to Olympic athletes and have several areas/roles that would be incorporated such as maintenance and general upkeep of the equipment by following the relevant reporting processes. This role will create a strong partnership with stakeholders and will be considered part of the high-performance team.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have similar work experience or be able to demonstrate capability in this area, as well as experience of working in a busy environment and in dealing with high volumes of customers, adults and children.
You will have good communication and customer care skills, good attention to detail and health and safety awareness, ability to use initiative, literate with ability to complete necessary records and lastly have a desire to become part of, and work with, a high-performance (sport) team who are under pressure to deliver results
