Permanent | 37.5 hours per week, between Monday to Friday, various shift pattens between 7am to 8pm and weekend work when required | Hybrid working, at least 1 to 2 days in the office / travel to other Serco sites per week | Liverpool

As an MI Analyst, you’ll collaborate with senior analysts and the Head of Analytics & Performance to deliver fast, reliable, and actionable information. You’ll maximise the use of Power BI tools across all contracts, generate critical performance insights, and play a key role in the creation of a truly data-driven culture.

 


Your day-to-day will include:

 

  • Developing intuitive, interactive dashboards and visual reports
  • Using your expertise in SQL server, Power BI and Excel to bring complex data to life
  • Supporting the evolution of our data platforms through testing and collaboration
  • Playing a hands-on role in knowledge sharing, training, and stakeholder engagement

 

About you:

 

  • Ability to manage workloads, prioritise and proactively set expectations to key Stakeholders
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to provide cost effective and value add recommendations
  • Excellent Communication and Organisational skills
  • Understanding of Business Processes and Contact Centre metrics
  • Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel; advanced formulas, Power Query, Visual Basic

 

  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, WFM (Work Force Management), planning principles and various methodologies like Erlang, Workload, Shrinkage etc. would be desirable

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience using analytical tools such as SQL server, Power BI, alongside a general background in analysis. Ideally, you’ll already be working in an analyst role and looking to develop your skills in a more strategic and high-impact setting.
