Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, TF10 9AT
Salary: £8.00 - £12.71 per hour (dependent upon age) plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time, 39 hours per week, working Monday to Sunday between the hours of 7:00am and 11:30pm

As a Café Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming environment where visitors can relax, refuel and enjoy their time at the centre. By delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high food hygiene standards and supporting the day-to-day operation of the café, you'll play an important role in creating positive experiences and supporting healthier, happier communities.

What you’ll do as a Café Assistant

• Carry out cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the café area
• Undertake and record temperature checks to support food hygiene compliance
• Serve customers promptly, professionally and with a friendly approach
• Follow financial and cash handling procedures accurately
• Prepare food and beverages in line with café menus and supervisor guidance
• Replenish café and vending machine stock as required

Does this sound like you?

• Experience working in a food retail or customer service environment
• Excellent customer care and communication skills
• A flexible and team-focused attitude
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• A Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (or equivalent) is desirable, although full training will be provided
