Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, TF10 9AT
Salary: £29,000 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time, 39 hours per week, 5 days per week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends to support restaurant service, weddings, and events.

As a Restaurant Chef de Partie in our Citizens Services team, you’ll support the delivery of a high-quality dining experience at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, preparing food at scale while maintaining excellent standards and consistency.
This is a hands-on role where your work has real impact – whether you’re preparing meals for small groups or large events of up to 350 guests. You’ll play a key part in creating positive experiences for visitors, athletes, and communities, helping us deliver a service that people can trust and take pride in.
What you’ll do as a Chef de Partie
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Prepare and cook meals as part of a team in a high-volume catering environment, serving up to 350 people.
- Prepare and cook dishes in line with restaurant standards and specifications
- Ensure all food is produced to required quality, safety, and presentation standards
- Follow and uphold all hygiene procedures, including temperature checks, food storage, and record keeping
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of menus and seasonal ingredients
- Support kitchen operations, including delegating and completing cleaning schedules
- Work flexibly across shifts to support restaurant service, functions, and events
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Food safety knowledge or qualifications and some kitchen experience
- Experience working in table d’hôte or similar service environments
- Confidence ordering stock and using basic computer systems
- Understanding of seasonality and menu planning
- A team-focused approach with flexibility to support varied service demands
