Salary: Paying up to £13.57 per hour, plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Full time 39 hours per week working hours between 8pm–8am, Monday to Sunday

As a Night Duty Manager, you'll help create a safe, welcoming and well-managed environment where people can stay active, achieve their goals and enjoy their leisure time with confidence. By leading operations during both day and night shifts, you'll play an important role in supporting the local community and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience. Your work will have purpose, helping to create a positive impact on communities while contributing to a healthier future.

 

What you’ll do as a Night Duty Manager

  • Oversee the facility during day and night operating hours, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction remain the priority.
  • Complete the cleaning of the sports facilities over night working alone to ensure they are ready and presentable for users the following day
  • Lead and support the operational team to deliver a high-quality service across the centre.
  • Open and close the facility and carry out security, safety and site-wide checks in line with procedures.
  • Respond to accidents, incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action and maintaining a calm approach.
  • Provide colleagues with information, instruction, induction and training to support safe and effective working practices.
  • Monitor operational performance standards and take action where required to maintain service quality.

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Experience in facility management, ideally within a supervisory role, with knowledge of Health and Safety at Work legislation.
  • Previous experience in facility cleaning
  • Experience working in a leisure, hospitality or similar operational environment.
  • Strong communication and customer care skills, with the ability to remain composed during challenging situations.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
  • A First Aid at Work certificate, or a willingness to obtain one.
