As a Capability Lead in our employability team, you’ll support and develop Job Coaches across operational sites, helping them build the skills and confidence to deliver meaningful outcomes. Your work will directly influence performance, growth, and positive impact for individuals and communities.

This is a role with purpose; by embedding best practice, supporting learning, and driving continuous improvement, you’ll help colleagues thrive and ensure participants receive the highest quality support – creating lasting change where it matters most. 

 

What you’ll do as a Capability Lead
You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Provide coaching, guidance and practical support to Job Coaches through observations, call reviews and 1-to-1 sessions
  • Identify learning needs and deliver targeted development to build capability and confidence
  • Share best practice across teams and embed continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new processes and change initiatives
  • Collaborate with Operations Managers to address performance challenges and improve outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of coaching activity and ensure alignment with contractual and quality standards

Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • Experience in employability, participant-facing services or a customer service environment with a strong track record of performance
  • Experience supporting, coaching or developing colleagues, with a passion for helping others grow
  • A Level 3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across different teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Vetting and checks:
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
