Casual, average 10 hours per week on either a weekday or at the weekend. Shift times: Wednesday & Friday 4pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm or 2pm to 10pm

What you’ll do as Catering Assistant

You’ll be entrusted to:

 

  • Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all catering areas
  • Operate tills and handle transactions accurately
  • Support stock control, including replenishing stock and reporting shortages
  • Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Experience in a catering or customer service role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual and organised
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends

 

Vetting and checks:

This role requires a Basic DBS check, which will disclose any unspent convictions in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
