Location: Oxford OX2 7DP
Salary: Competitive plus excellent benefits
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00) with occasional weekend work to support operational requirements.

We're looking for a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our leisure facilities running at their very best.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll:
- Carry out reactive repairs, fault finding and maintenance across a variety of building services and leisure plant equipment.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and reliable.
- Support the operation of pool plant, HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults and identify effective solutions.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers when required.
- Assist with minor refurbishment and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, reliability and customer experience.
- Participate in an on-call rota and support out-of-hours emergencies when required.
What We're Looking For
We recognise that great technicians come from many different backgrounds, so if you don't meet every requirement but feel you have relevant experience, we would still encourage you to apply.
Essential
- Practical maintenance experience gained in a building services, facilities, engineering, manufacturing, leisure, hospitality, commercial or similar environment.
- Good understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing or engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC or equivalent).
- Experience working within a leisure centre, swimming pool, facilities management or building services environment.
- Knowledge of pool plant operations.
- Experience with HVAC systems, pumps, motors, controls or water treatment systems.
- Health and Safety qualifications such as IOSH Working Safely.
- Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems.
