Location: Ferry Leisure Centre, Oxford, OX2 7DP
Salary: £29,325.22 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital part in supporting communities by maintaining the critical infrastructure that teams rely on every day. Whether responding to urgent faults or carrying out planned maintenance, your work will help ensure the continuity of care and create a safe, welcoming environment for visitors, colleagues, and everyone we serve.

 
What you’ll do as a Maintenance Technician

• Carry out reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing, commissioning, and maintenance across a wide range of plant and equipment
• Complete planned preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
• Work in line with all health and safety policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding faults, defects, and spare parts requirements
• Take a proactive approach to improving working practices and safety systems
• Support operational needs, including participating in the on-call rota and attending training as required

 
Does this sound like you?

• Experience working within a similar maintenance or building services environment
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services systems
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• A proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and work collaboratively

 
Vetting and checks:

As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
