Schedule: 37.5 hours per week with flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

As a Cleaner in our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) team, you’ll help ensure that accommodation is clean, safe, and welcoming for people seeking asylum. Your work will directly support individuals and families by maintaining high standards across the properties we manage.

 

Through our AASC contract, we provide accommodation and support for people while their asylum claims are being processed. As part of a team committed to trust, care, innovation, and pride, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive impact on communities and helping some of the most vulnerable people in society feel safe, respected, and supported. What you’ll do as a Cleaner

  • Clean dispersed accommodation properties and communal areas to agreed standards
  • Travel between sites using a company vehicle to carry out cleaning duties
  • Ensure properties are hygienic, safe, and ready for occupancy when required
  • Report any maintenance concerns or property issues identified during visits
  • Follow health and safety procedures and safe working practices at all times
  • Take pride in maintaining welcoming environments that support residents' wellbeing

Does this sound like you?

  • Previous experience cleaning domestic properties or similar environments
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
  • Good communication and basic IT skills
  • A reliable and proactive approach, with pride in delivering high standards
  • Experience cleaning larger or shared households would be an advantage
