As a Regional Aquatics Manager in our Shropshire Leisure team, you’ll drive the growth, quality, and success of swimming lessons and aquatic programmes across multiple sites.
Your work will make a real difference by helping people build confidence in the water, while supporting local communities and developing a team that delivers excellence.
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Deliver the Serco Leisure National Aquatics Strategy within your region.
- Manage and grow swimming lesson and aquatics programmes, ensuring quality, retention, and sustainable growth through a data-driven approach.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Swimming Coordinators, driving performance and building future talent.
- Oversee school swimming programmes, ensuring delivery that meets community needs.
- Support the mobilisation of new sites, ensuring consistent product standards.
- Monitor programme performance using reports and KPIs, implementing improvements where needed.
- Work with Marketing and Digital teams to promote aquatics programmes and strengthen customer engagement.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, qualifications, training standards, and health and safety requirements.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
- Experience of working in a busy leisure environment across multiple sites.
- A proven track record of growing and improving swimming lesson programmes.
- Experience of leading teams through change, mentoring staff, and driving performance.
- STA or Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (essential).
- Award in Education and Training Level 3 (essential – or willing to achieve).
- Safeguarding CPD (essential).
- A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
