As a Regional Aquatics Manager in our Shropshire Leisure team, you’ll drive the growth, quality, and success of swimming lessons and aquatic programmes across multiple sites.

Your work will make a real difference by helping people build confidence in the water, while supporting local communities and developing a team that delivers excellence.

You’ll be entrusted to:

• Deliver the Serco Leisure National Aquatics Strategy within your region.
• Manage and grow swimming lesson and aquatics programmes, ensuring quality, retention, and sustainable growth through a data-driven approach.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Swimming Coordinators, driving performance and building future talent.
• Oversee school swimming programmes, ensuring delivery that meets community needs.
• Support the mobilisation of new sites, ensuring consistent product standards.
• Monitor programme performance using reports and KPIs, implementing improvements where needed.
• Work with Marketing and Digital teams to promote aquatics programmes and strengthen customer engagement.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, qualifications, training standards, and health and safety requirements.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

• Experience of working in a busy leisure environment across multiple sites.
• A proven track record of growing and improving swimming lesson programmes.
• Experience of leading teams through change, mentoring staff, and driving performance.
• STA or Swim England Level 2 Certificate in Teaching Swimming (essential).
• Award in Education and Training Level 3 (essential – or willing to achieve).
• Safeguarding CPD (essential).
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
