Salary: £26,510 - £26,766 plus London Weighting Allowance of £6,500 and excellent benefits
Schedule: Working hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Office-based role, Monday to Friday. No hybrid working available.

As a Case Administrator in our Justice and Immigration team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the custody function at HMP Thameside. Your work will help ensure accurate sentence calculations, effective prisoner record management, and the smooth administration of custody processes that support a safe and secure environment.

What you'll do as a Case Administrator
- Provide administrative support to the custody function, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Process and maintain prisoner sentence calculations, custody records, and release documentation.
- Investigate and resolve sentence calculation and custody-related queries, liaising with courts and external agencies where required.
- Monitor shared inboxes and correspondence, ensuring enquiries are actioned promptly and professionally.
- Support court, parole, public protection, and release processes while maintaining accurate records and audit trails.
- Prepare meeting documentation, take minutes when required, and support the wider custody team with administrative activities.

- Strong organisational, communication, IT, numeracy, and literacy skills will help you succeed in this role.

Vetting and checks:
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
