Ready to impact a better future?

As an Office Administrator in our UK and Europe Defence, Space and Security Technology team, you’ll play a key role in keeping our projects and operations running smoothly. Your work will support colleagues across the business and help ensure we deliver a high-quality service that our customers can rely on.

This is a varied and people-focused role where no two days are quite the same. From supporting project teams and managers to keeping information flowing and processes on track, your contribution will have a real and positive impact on how we work. Our work touches lives, and by helping our teams succeed, you’ll be helping to create impactful solutions that support a safer, more secure future.

What you’ll do as an Office Administrator

You’ll be entrusted to:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across projects, including liaising with project managers and specialist teams
  • Support payroll processing under supervision, along with timesheet and employee record administration
  • Organise meetings and events, including room bookings and refreshments
  • Raise purchase orders and sales orders, and process supplier invoices as required
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and document control, including supporting local procedure reviews
  • Prepare reports and presentations using information provided by the management team

Does this sound like you?

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • A good all-round education, including English and Maths
  • Confidence using IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to support colleagues and customers

This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, you will also need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
