Schedule: Fixed Term Contract 18-months with study time included as part of the apprenticeship programme. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

As a Business Administrator Apprentice in our Employment, Skills and Training team at Restart, you’ll provide vital administrative support that helps people access opportunities, build skills, and move towards sustainable employment. You’ll be at the heart of the delivery centre supporting participants and colleagues and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations that make a real difference.
Working in a professional environment, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. What you’ll do as Business Administration Apprentice
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Deliver high levels of customer service when interacting with participants and colleagues
- Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience
- Manage reception duties, greeting all visitors and supporting enquiries
- Capture and maintain accurate data across systems and databases
- Adhere to company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Act as a key point of contact for incoming phone calls and emails
- Support general administration including ordering supplies, managing records, and handling petty cash
- Assist with resolving queries and supporting wider team processes such as health and safety and office management
- Provide administrative support across training and apprenticeship activities where required

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Maths and English GCSE grade 4/c or above
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Confidence using IT systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Vetting and checks:
This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
