Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
Schedule: 40 hours per week, permanent

As a Cleaning Tutor in our Learning and Skills team, you’ll deliver high‑quality teaching that builds confidence, strengthens employability and helps learners develop the skills they need for a positive future. Your work directly supports rehabilitation and creates real opportunities for people preparing to return to their communities.
You’ll shape engaging learning experiences, guide learners through accredited programmes and use your expertise to help create an environment where growth and progress are part of everyday life.
What you’ll do as a Cleaning Tutor
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Deliver structured programmes aligned to awarding‑body requirements and the core curriculum
- Plan lessons, schemes of work and learning activities that support high‑quality, purposeful learning
- Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, progress and achievement
- Provide regular feedback and support to help learners stay on track and develop their skills
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across education and other departments to ensure strong programme delivery

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
- A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards) and a Level 3 subject specialism
- Experience delivering learning in a setting that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to plan, organise and deliver engaging lessons that meet learner needs
- Confidence working to deadlines, adapting to change and supporting positive behaviour in learning environments
Vetting and checks:
An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
