VIVO is recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join its growing team delivering essential services across Military Family Housing (MFH). This is a mobile cleaning role covering multiple domestic properties and related accommodation areas across site, working as part of a small team that is still being established.
The role involves carrying out domestic and housing cleaning duties to a high standard, including deep cleaning requirements such as ovens. You will be responsible for delivering multiple house cleans within scheduled workloads, working independently depending on the location and task allocation. Work is planned and scheduled, and you will be expected to manage your time effectively to meet operational requirements.
A work van and fuel card will be provided to support travel between properties and work areas across the sites.
The role is currently being built from the ground up, with no existing cleaning team in place, offering the opportunity to help shape standards and ways of working from the beginning.
What you’ll need
Full training will be provided, however previous cleaning experience is required. You will be expected to work to defined targets and key performance indicators, ensuring all cleaning standards are consistently achieved and maintained.
Flexibility is required, as occasional overtime or out-of-hours working may be necessary depending on urgency or operational demand.
The successful candidate will hold BPSS clearance (or be willing to undergo clearance) and a full driving licence, and will be able to work independently, reliably, and to a high standard within a structured but evolving environment.
This is an opportunity to join a developing organisation supporting critical housing services within the UK Defence sector, with growing responsibility as the business expands.
