We are seeking a passionate and driven Regional Operations Lead to support the delivery of high-quality property services across a large housing portfolio of approximately 15,000 homes in the South East.

This is a key leadership role working alongside the Regional Manager to ensure the effective delivery of repairs, maintenance, compliance, voids and grounds maintenance services. You will play a central role in driving operational performance, enhancing customer experience and developing high-performing teams, while building strong and lasting client relationships.

As Regional Operations Lead, you will support the day-to-day operational delivery of the contract, ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed performance standards. You will actively contribute to achieving and exceeding KPIs and service level agreements, maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will deputise for the Regional Manager as required, representing the organisation at client, stakeholder and internal meetings, and taking ownership of decision-making when needed. This role provides an excellent opportunity to step into senior leadership responsibilities and further develop your management capability.

A key aspect of the role is leading and managing the supply chain to ensure performance, quality and value for money. You will build strong relationships with contractors and partners, ensuring they are aligned with operational objectives and deliver consistently high standards.

You will promote and embed a customer-first culture across operational teams, ensuring that the resident experience remains at the heart of service delivery. You will also identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and cost savings without compromising service quality.

Health and safety is a critical priority, and you will ensure all activities are carried out in line with company policies and relevant legislation, promoting a strong safety culture across the region.

You will inspire and support operational teams, providing leadership, direction and motivation to achieve contract objectives and drive continuous improvement. The role requires regular travel across the South East and participation in a 24-hour operational rota, including on-call responsibilities.

About You

You will have proven experience within the housing maintenance or property services sector, with a strong background in managing repairs, maintenance, compliance and voids services.

You will bring experience of managing supply chains and delivering contracted services, along with a strong understanding of performance management frameworks, including KPIs and SLAs.

You will be an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, confident in representing the organisation and building trusted relationships with clients and partners.

You will demonstrate commercial awareness, with the ability to identify efficiencies and drive cost-effective service delivery. A strong understanding of health and safety and safe systems of work is essential.

You will be self-motivated, organised and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to step up and lead when required.

Relevant health and safety or leadership qualifications, as well as experience working with local authorities or housing associations, would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious operational leader looking to take the next step in their career, with the chance to make a real impact on service delivery and customer outcomes across a large and diverse housing portfolio.
