Be the Organised Force Behind Operational Excellence

Are you a proactive, detail-driven professional who thrives on keeping things running smoothly? Do you take pride in being the reliable, calm presence that makes everything happen behind the scenes?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Administrator to join our team at Duke of Gloucester Barracks. This is more than just an administrative role — it’s an opportunity to play a pivotal part in supporting service delivery, driving efficiency, and helping us meet our commitments with professionalism and precision.

If you’re highly organised, confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, and motivated by making a tangible impact every day, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring that daily activities are coordinated seamlessly and professionally. You will be raising job packs, issuing job packs, booking contractors, arranging escorts, raising purchase orders among other administrative activities. This includes scanning and printing materials as required and responding promptly and courteously to digital and telephone queries.

You will prepare reports as directed by management and produce accurate meeting minutes, agendas, and action logs to ensure clear communication and accountability. A key part of the role involves managing electronic and hard-copy filing systems in line with Quality Management Systems, maintaining high standards of organisation and compliance.

In addition, you will provide administrative support to other departments when required and play an active role in promoting a culture of excellent customer service aligned with company objectives and values. You will also plan, organise, and coordinate internal and external meetings, events, and accommodation arrangements as requested.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with previous admin experience, preferably with a background in facilities management.

You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and hold a full UK driving licence as this site is not accessible by public transport.

You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be eligible for this role.

Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. You should be confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, professional in your approach, and proactive in identifying solutions. A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting team success are key.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive Operations team where your contribution will be visible and valued. You will gain exposure across multiple departments and stakeholders while continuing to develop your administrative expertise within a professional environment.

If you are ready to bring energy, efficiency, and excellence to a vital support role, we encourage you to apply. Your next opportunity starts here.

We offer;

  • Up to 6% contributory pension scheme
  • 25 Days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Volunteer leave
