Are you curious by nature, passionate about improving how organisations work, and ready to make a real impact?

We’re looking for an Internal Auditor to join the VIVO Internal Audit team and play a key role in strengthening governance, improving controls, and helping the business succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse and complex organisation, partnering with stakeholders to identify risks, improve processes, and drive meaningful change. You’ll work remotely with the flexibility to travel to UK sites when required (up to 40%), giving you exposure to different parts of the business and the chance to build strong relationships across the organisation.

About the Role

As an Internal Auditor, you’ll be involved in the full audit lifecycle from planning through to reporting, delivering high-quality insights that help the business manage risk and improve performance.

You will support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the Internal Audit strategy and annual audit plan, identifying key risk areas, and contributing to shaping the audit roadmap.

You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation, communicating audit themes, root causes, and improvement opportunities to support better business outcomes.

You will champion continuous improvement within the Internal Audit function, challenging existing processes and bringing fresh ideas that enhance how we work.

You will independently lead internal audits from planning to reporting, delivering audits on time and within budget while maintaining high professional standards. Your work will include analysing processes, identifying patterns and root causes, and developing practical recommendations.

You will present audit findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and engaging way, working collaboratively with management to ensure corrective actions are owned and delivered. You will track, follow up, and close audit issues, escalating where necessary, while managing multiple audit assignments or projects simultaneously.

What you’ll need

We are seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is motivated to continually develop their skills. Ideally, you will have achieved a professional qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, with previous experience in internal audit or a related field such as external audit, assurance, or process consulting.

You will have a good understanding of operational, financial, and compliance processes.

You will have a strong understanding of internal controls and risk management frameworks, with the ability to evaluate control effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities. You stay aware of emerging risks and governance best practices and are experienced in applying data and analytics to support audit insights. You have cross-functional business knowledge, are able to identify fraud risks and investigate issues, and understand regulatory and compliance environments as well as market dynamics.

Your core auditing skills include leading audits and agreeing objectives with stakeholders, evaluating audit evidence, identifying process weaknesses, recommending practical improvements, and managing projects effectively. You are a skilled communicator who builds trust and collaboration, presents complex ideas clearly, and influences outcomes effectively.

You must be able to pass SC Clearance and have a full UK driver’s license to be eligible for this role.
