Are you a confident, experienced Lead Auditor looking for a challenging and varied role where no two days are the same? VIVO is on the lookout for a dynamic Lead Auditor to join our busy compliance team. Reporting to the Compliance Manager within the SHEQ function, you will play a crucial role in delivering internal and contractual audits across multiple contracts, ensuring we meet customer, business, and certification requirements.

About the Role

You’ll be homebased in the Southwest region, ideally around Portsmouth or Wiltshire, with a travel-heavy role that involves moving between sites and staying overnight as needed. You’ll have access to a pool or company car for your journeys. This role covers multiple sites and requires you to be hands-on with audits, from planning to report writing, across high-value and construction environments.

Day to day, you will arrange audits with auditees and client representatives and carry out compliance, internal, and supplier audits against company, client, legal, and nationally recognised standards. Your professional and timely audit reports will support the continuous improvement of VIVO’s management system, alongside coaching and supporting contract teams and corporate functions.

As a key part of the VIVO compliance team, you’ll maintain effective relationships with clients and Contract Quality Managers while managing non-conformance responses and supporting sites in closing out issues. Your ability to identify opportunities for improvement and your solid understanding of problem-solving and corrective action methodologies will be essential.

You will be part of a small, close-knit team of five, including your manager, three other auditors, and an admin colleague. The team operates independently but meets regularly for support and knowledge-sharing.

What you’ll need

To thrive in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in quality, compliance, and auditing, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in report writing and IT. You’ll hold, or be willing to work towards, Lead Auditor qualifications (ISO 9001 ideally, with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 as a bonus). Experience in construction or a customer-focused, high-volume environment will be highly valued, as will the motivation to grow and develop your skills with ongoing training opportunities.

You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be eligible for this role.

This role offers the chance to work independently, build strong stakeholder relationships, and make a tangible impact on business performance and compliance standards. If you’re ready for a role that challenges you, supports your career growth, and involves extensive travel within the Southwest, we want to hear from you.

Apply now and take the lead in shaping VIVO’s compliance excellence!

We offer;
