This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Plasterer to join VIVO Defence Services, working to maintain and improve accommodation for our UK Armed Forces and their families. We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to deliver a first-class service across our Ministry of Defence housing estate. You will be based in Lyneham and play a key role as the main plasterer in the area, typically working independently but with support available for larger projects.

About the Role;

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of plastering, both internal and external, to the highest standard. This includes applying sand and cement to walls, completing K render and other rendering techniques on domestic properties, performing patch repairs, skimming, and finishing plasterwork to a perfect standard.

You will also undertake general external works such as groundworks, working on patios repairing or replacing curb stones, and fencing, as well as supporting decorating and painting tasks when required.

You will maintain accurate records of materials and completed work using both electronic and paper-based systems, ensure all health and safety documentation is in place prior to starting work, and always operate in line with VIVO’s Perfect Delivery ethos.


A key part of the role will involve communicating professionally with residents, clients, and colleagues, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting apprentices or less experienced team members when necessary.

This is a full-time position based in Lyneham, with potential for overtime but no formal call-out or on-call rota. You will be provided with a company van and a fuel card, which can also be used for private travel in line with company policy.

What you’ll need;

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced and confident tradesperson with a strong plastering background and the ability to complete work efficiently and to a high standard. You should hold a full UK driving licence, City & Guilds 6708 Level 2 or 3 or NVQ Level 2 in Plasterwork (or equivalent).
A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction are essential. Experienced plasterers without formal qualifications may also be considered if they can demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality work in similar environments.
