The Billable Works Revenue Manager will act as the central interface between Commercial, Finance, and Operations, ensuring that all processes are fully aligned and that accurate, timely information flows seamlessly across the business. The role is accountable for driving compliance across the end-to-end revenue cycle, securing efficient cash recovery, and safeguarding financial performance while supporting the delivery of high-quality operational outcomes.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, this position will play a key role in the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly forecasts, analysing both financial and operational data to provide the Senior Management Team with clear, evidence-based reports. A critical element of the role will be engaging directly with clients to resolve system issues, address barriers, and mitigate non-compliance, ensuring that all contractual and statutory requirements are met.
Collaboration with operational teams will be essential to accelerate project completion dates and strengthen cash flow outcomes. By applying strong knowledge of project management methodologies and housing maintenance lifecycles, you will streamline operations, reduce delays, and ensure that commercial opportunities are captured in a timely manner. The role will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, enhance compliance, and ensure a consistent value-for-money service.
Success in this role requires excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical solutions. Exceptional relationship management and communication skills are essential, as the position requires engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, operational delivery teams, commercial colleagues, and senior management. The ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve challenges constructively will be key.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working across Finance, Commercial, and Operations functions, with a strong grasp of compliance management and cash recovery processes. A background in housing maintenance or facilities management would be highly advantageous, alongside familiarity with project lifecycles and contractual frameworks. Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities to tight deadlines, you will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
This is an agile role, with a base at one of the South West offices and an expectation of office presence three days per week. Regular travel across the region will be required to support client engagement and operational collaboration.
