We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Delivery Manager to lead the successful delivery of repairs, maintenance and property services across the contract. This is a key operational leadership role responsible for ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while meeting performance, budget and customer expectations.

As Delivery Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day service delivery, managing operational teams, specialist contractors and supply chain partners to ensure responsive repairs, servicing and maintenance activities are completed effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining service continuity, including managing out-of-hours requirements, resource planning and ensuring appropriate cover is in place during periods of absence.

You will lead performance across the service area, ensuring contractual KPIs, customer expectations and health and safety requirements are consistently achieved. This will include monitoring performance data, analysing trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions that improve quality, efficiency and value for money.

A key part of the role will be managing and developing relationships with internal teams, customers, stakeholders and supply chain partners. You will act as a trusted point of contact, resolving issues, supporting effective communication and ensuring customers receive a high-quality service experience.

You will oversee the management of complex repairs, ensuring challenges are identified, solutions are implemented and customers are kept informed throughout the process. You will work closely with contractors and operational teams to maintain strong standards of delivery and ensure property assets are effectively managed.

The role will also include responsibility for financial and commercial performance, including managing delegated budgets, monitoring spend, reviewing trends and taking action to address any risks or variances. You will support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, introduce efficiencies and strengthen operational performance.

You will provide strong leadership to your team, creating a positive and supportive environment where colleagues are motivated, developed and empowered to perform at their best. You will manage performance, support employee development and ensure effective people management practices are embedded across the service.

About You

You will have proven experience managing operational delivery within repairs, maintenance, housing, facilities management or a related service environment. You will have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing subcontractors to deliver high-quality services against agreed targets.

You will have a strong understanding of repairs and maintenance operations, relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and safe systems of work. Experience managing contracts, performance measures, budgets and customer-focused service delivery is essential.

You will be an effective people leader with the ability to motivate teams, manage performance and build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and supply chain partners. You will be confident making decisions, solving problems and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A relevant professional qualification such as CIOB, RICS or equivalent experience would be advantageous, alongside health and safety knowledge including areas such as risk assessments, permits to work and method statements. Experience or qualifications relating to Responsible Person duties for asbestos or legionella would be beneficial.

You will be organised, proactive and commercially aware, with strong communication skills and the ability to drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

The ability to obtain and maintain SC Clearance will be a condition of employment.
