Are you ready to develop your career in project management or take the lead on impactful projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment? At VIVO, we’re seeking a motivated Project Manager to support and deliver the successful completion of Billable Works, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while delivering outstanding value and service.
This role is ideal for both experienced Project Managers and those progressing into a Project Management role who are looking to broaden their experience within a supportive and collaborative environment.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in project delivery from start to finish, working closely with supply chain teams, local representatives, and site managers to align priorities and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You’ll monitor performance indicators, review risk assessments, and support the delivery of work in line with statutory regulations and the MoD’s carbon reduction goals.
You’ll also work with systems such as Maximo to track progress, resolve issues, and help drive effective project solutions. With support from the wider team, you’ll develop the confidence to manage competing priorities while maintaining strong standards of safety, quality, and performance.
A strong communicator, you’ll work with stakeholders to manage expectations, support cost control, and help mitigate contract risks while developing sound commercial awareness. Your contribution will help ensure projects consistently meet KPIs and deliver high-quality results.
This role will see you involved in the construction and refurbishment of a wide variety of buildings, from medical centres and office buildings to aircraft hangars, offering exposure to a diverse and rewarding project portfolio.
What You Need To Do The Job
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring experience from within the construction or built environment sector and a strong interest in developing or progressing your career in project management. This could include experience coordinating works, supervising teams, supporting project delivery, or managing smaller projects.
For more experienced candidates, demonstrable experience managing projects from cradle to grave, leading operational teams, managing stakeholders, controlling costs, and overseeing safe systems of work will be highly beneficial.
You’ll hold an HND-level qualification in Building/Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline), or equivalent industry experience. A health and safety qualification such as SMSTS is desirable, although support may be available for candidates who are working towards this.
You’ll also have strong organisational and IT skills, including experience using tools such as Excel and Word, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and compliance.
At VIVO, we’re committed to supporting professional growth. Through mentoring, training, and continuing professional development opportunities, you’ll have the chance to expand your skills and build your career while working on projects that make a real difference.
