Are you an expert in programme coordination with a sharp eye for detail, a head for data, and a passion for keeping complex projects on track? If you’re looking to play a pivotal role in driving delivery across critical infrastructure works, the Programme Manager role at VIVO Defence Services could be the perfect fit.
The Role
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the full lifecycle of our billable works programme—from capturing live status and future pipeline to highlighting risks, unlocking progress, and ensuring delivery remains smooth and on time. You’ll be at the centre of the action, working across delivery teams, finance, commercial, and supply chain to ensure alignment and visibility on everything from project status to billing and resource planning.
In this role, you’ll build and maintain accurate, live programme data and turn it into meaningful insights. You’ll create visually engaging reports and dashboards that don’t just show the numbers—but tell the story behind them. You’ll spot trends, identify bottlenecks, and provide the narrative that drives decision-making at the highest level. Whether it's pipeline forecasting or supporting carbon reduction opportunities on site, your work will directly influence outcomes for our Defence customers.
This role requires more than just great reporting skills. You’ll be the key link between operational delivery teams, commercial teams, and client stakeholders. You’ll ensure programme data is consistent and compliant with contract governance, manage documentation and version control, and provide clear and timely responses to programme-related queries. Your insights will help internal teams plan ahead and stay efficient, while ensuring clients and leadership teams remain confident and well-informed.
What You'll Bring
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in project controls, data reporting, or programme coordination—ideally within a construction, FM, housing, or infrastructure environment. You’ll need excellent Excel skills, familiarity with tools like Power BI or Smartsheet, and the ability to interpret complex datasets in a way that makes sense to non-technical audiences. If you have experience working with NEC or JCT contracts, minor works, or Defence estates, even better.
This is a fast-paced role where prioritisation, proactive communication, and analytical thinking are key. You’ll need to stay cool under pressure, manage competing priorities, and work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders. In return, you’ll play a central role in helping VIVO deliver projects that matter—ensuring high-quality living and working environments for those who serve our country.
If you’re ready to step into a high-impact, data-driven role with real responsibility and visibility, we’d love to hear from you.
