The Role

At VIVO, we’re on a mission to deliver high-quality works and services that support the UK’s defence infrastructure. As our Quantity Surveyor, you’ll become a key part of our collaborative, supportive team, playing a vital role in making sure our Billable Works process runs like clockwork — accurately, compliantly, and profitably.

This isn’t just a back-office role — it’s a dynamic and interactive position where your keen eye for detail, problem-solving mindset, and passion for quality will directly influence project outcomes. You'll liaise with suppliers, challenge non-compliant quotes, check documentation, and ensure commercial accuracy in everything we do. You’ll be a guardian of quality and compliance, making sure the numbers are right, the data’s complete, and the work is priced and tracked properly.

You’ll get hands-on with tools like MAXIMO, support pricing using the Schedules of Rates or other cost frameworks, raise purchase orders, and help the wider team resolve any issues or anomalies. Along the way, you’ll contribute to important internal reporting, streamline processes, and support the team’s success across a wide variety of projects. This is a role that puts you at the commercial heart of our business — and offers a clear path for growth.

What You'll Bring

If you have experience and qualifications in quantity surveying, commercial admin, or project support and are confident working with numbers, spreadsheets, and systems, we want to hear from you. You’ll need to be a great communicator, organised, and comfortable juggling priorities. Experience with commercial contracts, NHF codes or the MAXIMO system is a bonus, but if you’re eager to learn, we’ll support your development every step of the way.

This is a hybrid role based at our Larkhill office — with a mix of in-office and home-working to suit modern life. You’ll also join a close-knit team of Project Managers and surveyors who will support and challenge you to do your best work.
