What You’ll Be Doing

As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you will be at the heart of operations, keeping sites safe, compliant, and running smoothly. You will deliver a range of planned and reactive maintenance activities such as legionella flushing, sprinkler testing and inspections, alongside small works projects including redecoration, lock changes and installations.

You will act as a first responder for urgent issues, providing temporary fixes where needed, and support asset surveys, inspections and data collection. The role also involves managing materials, ordering equipment, coordinating site access, providing escort duties, supporting contractor activities and assisting with assurance checks and compliance processes. Throughout all activities, you will champion health and safety and contribute to a Zero Harm culture.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking practical, proactive individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy solving problems. You will have hands-on experience in maintenance or small works delivery, along with a strong focus on health and safety and compliance.

Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be comfortable using smartphones, tablets and basic IT systems as part of your daily work.

Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or BTEC are desirable but not essential, as is experience within planned or reactive maintenance environments.
