Lead the team. Drive performance. Make a difference to Defence housing.

VIVO is looking for an experienced and motivated Void Supervisor to join our Accommodation team across the South East, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of our Housing Maintenance service across London and Kent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced repairs and maintenance professional who thrives in a busy operational environment and enjoys leading teams, improving performance and delivering a high-quality service to customers.

As Void Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the effective delivery of a diverse and complex range of void maintenance works and associated workstreams. Working closely with the Delivery Manager, you will provide strong operational leadership, ensuring teams are organised, motivated and equipped to deliver outstanding results.

What will the role involve?

You will oversee day-to-day operational delivery, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. This will include managing subcontractors and monitoring performance against KPIs, SLAs and customer satisfaction targets.

You will carry out site audits covering health and safety, quality, FFF and customer service, while identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve productivity and minimise downtime. You will also monitor daily workloads and productivity across trades, troubleshoot operational issues and ensure works remain on track.

You will be self scheduling your work tasks throughout the month, balancing void delivery work and any scheduled move ins as required.

Leadership will be a key part of the role. You will work closely with the Delivery Manager on performance management, sickness and holiday cover.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a repairs and maintenance supervisor within a housing environment, with a proven track record of delivering maintenance services.

Experience of contract management and working with Schedules of Rates is desirable, alongside a good understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and British Standards. Experience with health and safety processes such as Permit to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements is also important.

Ideally, candidates will hold an HNC or equivalent qualification or relevant experience, together with a Level 2 qualification such as an NVQ in a maintenance trade. Strong leadership, communication, IT and customer service skills are essential.

With a growing business and exciting opportunities ahead, this is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering a service that genuinely matters. Join VIVO and help us keep Defence communities safe, supported and well maintained.

If you're an experienced maintenance supervisor ready to take ownership, lead from the front and make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
