Your Opportunity
Responsible for conducting acceptance test flights, pre/post phase test flights, ground/flight maintenance operational checks, ground/flight evaluation and troubleshooting. Reports directly to the Maintenance Team Lead and Maintenance Manager to assist with: coordinating with Production Control for maintenance planning, schedules and unit (pilot and aircrew) support for maintenance operations when required.
Must be able to communicate well with others, instill a teamwork mentality, and lead by example.
Key Accountabilities

Must ensure that all aircraft inspection procedures, maintenance practices, standards, and records comply with all FAA, EASA, Etc. TAMMS and the company's regulations.

Performs as MTP on the concerned aircraft and serves as Pilot in command (PIC) in accomplishing maintenance test flights, acceptance flights, and support missions as prescribed by customer requirements.

Obtains brief information on purpose of flight test, weather, operation procedures, intelligence, and special instructions. Prepare flight plans considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, aircraft, crew capabilities, threats, operational / training requirements and flight procedures.

Ensuring that all the concerned aircraft's are being maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by applicable regulations, technical manuals, airworthiness directives, and good maintenance practices.

Ensures the aircraft is pre-flight inspected, loaded, equipped, and manned for mission. Inspect engines, fuselage, and control surfaces for mechanical and structural soundness. Inspect and test mission equipment for proper operation. Ensures that weight and balance is valid, fuel supply is adequate, plus survival and rescue equipment is properly stowed.

Brief all crew members and non-crew members on safety, emergency procedures, and scope of mission. PIC and crew to accomplish assigned mission. Perform prescribed test maneuvers, instrument readings, records results and test specifications as prescribed by the contract or customer requirements.
- Test both normal and emergency functions of systems. Coordinate and direct flight phases of test or support missions with other aircraft. Maintain flight records and report observations made during mission. Conduct and supervise training of crew members. Instruct local national crew members in the operation and techniques of maintenance test flying. Orient and brief crew members and non-crew members on duties, responsibilities, flight operation, and mission profile.
- Must be able to perform limited duties of technical inspector, inspecting maintenance, and modification actions on assigned aircraft.
- Assist as needed, in troubleshooting and use of test equipment. Assist as needed with logistical issues to identify needed components or test equipment
Specific Requirements

Minimum of 5 Years Aviation Maintenance.

FAA, EASA, etc. or equivalent military training certificates. Military or commercial aircraft maintenance school or course required.

Graduate of AMOC Phase I course and the concerned aircraft MTPC (AMOC Phase II) or equivalents.

Must be able to attain and maintain a local military flight physical (class I), equivalent to the FAA (class II).

Minimum 1000 hours first pilot time (PIC) and 200 hours MTP in Bell 407.

Must have strong knowledge of FAA, EASA, etc. and/or equivalent Army maintenance practices including The Army Maintenance Management System for Aviation (TAMMS-A), Aeronautical Equipment Maintenance Management Procedures, and ATP Aviation Maintenance.
- Proven technical experience on air platforms from one of the following nations - UAE, US, Australia and/or South Korea

Must be able to pass hands-on flight evaluation.

Valid Pilot license with Test Pilot rating
