- Maintain employee payroll and HR data, including tax, superannuation, deductions and allowances.
- Respond to payroll enquiries with a customer-focused approach.
- Support pay run activities, adjustments and off-cycle payments.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and escalate issues where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process excellence.
- Demonstrate initiative, accountability and a strong work ethic when managing competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and contribute positively to a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Serco is a place for you
We're looking for people who are detail-oriented, adaptable and thrive in a team environment. Payroll experience is highly regarded, however we're also keen to hear from candidates with administrative, customer service, finance, shared services or other transferable experience.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- A team-first mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- The confidence to take initiative, ask questions and continuously improve the way work is delivered.
- Experience with SAP, ServiceNow and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
Most importantly, we're looking for people who are curious, resilient and collaborative. If you're looking for an opportunity within a large, global organisation where you can learn, develop and build a long-term career, we'd love to hear from you.
