About the Health Centre

Amberley Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Amberley — the largest Air Force base in Australia, just 50 minutes from Brisbane.

The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy and mental health care.

The standard operating hours are 07:30–15:30, Monday–Friday, depending on role requirements and specific craft group requirements for weekend and on-call shifts.

What you’ll do

• Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations, or monitor and manage patients in a low-dependency ward setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians and dental professionals
• Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management and preventative care

What you bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
