Serco is looking for a Business Readiness Manager to support the successful adoption of new technology and process changes across our organisation. Working closely with the Ministry of Justice and internal teams, you will ensure that impacted business areas are fully prepared, supported, and confident as changes move into business-as-usual.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Develop and deliver business readiness plans covering communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assess business impacts and implement mitigation strategies to minimise disruption.
  • Coordinate training and ensure SOPs/LOPs are updated for new ways of working.
  • Support smooth transition from project delivery to BAU with high user adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with MoJ and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor readiness progress, adoption metrics, and feedback, reporting to programme leadership.
  • Ensure all activity aligns with Serco Management System (SMS) standards.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Experience in change management and business readiness delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Understanding of project delivery frameworks (Agile/Waterfall).
  • Ability to design and deliver training and support materials.
  • Experience updating SOPs/LOPs and supporting operational teams through change.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Qualifications in Business, Change, or Project Management (Prosci/APMG/PRINCE2 desirable).
