Background information:

 

This is consultant position for the support the administrative tasks related to M365 services under the portfolio of Digital Solution Managed Services Section (DSM), within UNICC’s Digital Solutions Division, located in Brindisi, Italy and Valencia, Spain. This support is required due to the increased amount of work requested by the customer.

Required Profile:

 

The consultant is expected to bring specialist or expert-level proficiency to deliver on-going support and administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and other related messaging and collaboration systems in the enterprise environments.

The incumbent will work under the direct supervision and guidance of the DSM Team Lead, and in close collaboration with other DSM members and units.

 

Scope of Work / Duties of Consultant:

 

  • Provide M365 tenant global administration and management;
  • Administer the M365 tenant and Entra ID global policies according to the governance and best practices;
  • Administer and configure different M365 products like Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Defender, Purview
  • Administer and manage provisioning and life cycle of Entra ID objects including members, guests, security groups, roles, enterprise applications, mail objects, M365 licenses provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Manage mail routing and message hygiene, anti-malware and anti-spam protection, quarantine and mail relay
  • Implement, manage and troubleshot online email archives and archiving and compliance policies, Persistent On hold and Advanced e-discovery functionalities and perform data recovery
  • Perform advance message tracking and non-delivery troubleshooting
  • Manage identity security policies including Defender for Identity, SSO and MFA, Conditional Access policies configurations, RBAC control
  • Configure and manage the Identity Governance features like entitlement management, PIM, access review
  • Assist in responding to M365 related queries from end users in remote locations.
  • Participate in the “on call” roster (for support outside of working hours)
  • Perform other duties, as required

Required Technical Skills:

 

The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:

 

  • At least 4 years of experience in managing, operating, and maintaining a large, multi-site and complex email and identity infrastructure.
  • At least one year of experience working with customers on Cloud and M365 specific solutions and deployments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, MS Defender, Purview and others.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Entra ID Identity in a complex environment (Entra Domain Services, B2B/B2C, Identity Protection, Identity governance, SSO, MFA, application registration, etc.).
  • Very good knowledge in scripting, in particular PowerShell scripting and MS Graph to automate processes in Entra ID, MS Exchange Online and other M365 components.
  • Exposure in migration projects from on-premises systems to Microsoft 365 and/or tenant to tenant migration and related integration features.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (both written and verbal).

 

The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:

  • Exposure in Information Technology Service Management System (ITSM: ISO 20000), ITIL framework and other industry standard related best practices.
  • Good understanding of Management and Monitoring tools such as SCOM.

Desirable certifications:

 

  • Microsoft 365 Certification(s)
  • Other related Microsoft Certification
  • ITIL certification

Teleworking Option:

 

Up to one day of teleworking per week is permitted.

On-call requirements:

 

The consultant will participate in an on-call rotation, expected to be approximately one week per month depending on team size. Standby support and shift work may also be required

  • Mondays to Saturdays: 125% of the daily rates
  • Sundays & UNICC Public Holidays: 150% of the daily rates On-call Services
