HMP Ashfield is an adult male sex offender prison based in the village of Pucklechurch in South Gloucestershire. We are looking for an Administrator to join our team. The Administrator will provide secure, effective and efficient clerical/administrative support within contract departments.
Key Responsibilities
• To ensure that all privileged correspondence is handled appropriately.
• To update and input onto NOMIS and SERCO software recording systems on a daily basis.
• To collect, log, file and distribute all departmental reports and files.
• To collate/compile and distribute reports accordingly.
• To maintain database(s) relating to management reports.
• To ensure a high level of security and confidentiality is maintained in relation to staff and prisoners, and that all information, both written and verbal, is treated confidentially.
• To assist with the organisation and administration of meetings/events, as and when required.
• To attend as minute taker at events, meetings or extraordinary meetings
• Assist with HR related tasks and meetings that are confidential.
• Carryout HR processes when required e.g absence, payroll reporting
What You’ll Need
Essential:
Qualifications:
• Literacy and Numeracy Level 2
Technical:
• Excellent computer and typing skills inclusive of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Knowledge & Skills:
• Working within an administrative environment
• Understanding of Data Protection/GPDR
• Previous experience of minute taking.
