We are hiring a Business Analyst for the EEAS in Brussels, Belgium and various locations around Europe.

 

Security Clearance: EU secret clearance is Mandatory

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
  • Analyse existing systems and highlight areas of improvement.
  • Focuses on functional software requirements.
  • Data analytics responsibilities.
  • Oversee the providing of solution as per specifications.
  • Validate the functionality of the solution according to the requirement specifications.
  • Prepare technical user manuals, system configuration documents and other technical reports.

Acceptance of the Service Delivered

Deliverables will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance / Architect / Project Manager / SME and accepted by the EEAS Management

 

- Business Requirements Document (BRD): This document outlines the business needs, goals, and objectives of a project. It describes what the system should achieve from a business perspective.

- Functional Requirements Document (FRD):This document details the specific functions that a system must perform to satisfy the business requirements. It describes "how" the system will work.

- Use Cases: These describe how users will interact with the system to achieve specific goals. They often include pre-conditions, post-conditions, and alternative flows.

- User Stories: Similar to use cases, but often more concise and written from the perspective of the end-user. They follow a format like "As a [role], I want [feature] so that [benefit]."

- Process Flows/Swimlane Diagrams: Visual representations of business processes, showing the sequence of activities and who is responsible for each step.

- Data Models: Diagrams that illustrate the structure of data within a system, including entities, attributes, and relationships.

- Wireframes/Mockups: Visual representations of user interfaces, showing the layout and elements of screens or web pages.

- Test Cases: Detailed steps to verify that the system meets the defined requirements.

- Traceability Matrix: A document that links requirements to design elements, code, and test cases, ensuring that all requirements are addressed.

- Gap Analysis: A document that identifies the differences between current and desired states, often used to determine what needs to be built or changed.

- Impact Analysis: Assesses the potential effects of changes on existing systems, processes, or stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
