Business Analyst

We are hiring an Business Analyst for the EU Commission in Brussels, Belgium, and various locations around Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Analysis of business requirements, including functional analysis, and proposal and documentation of features
• Drafting of related documentation, including business use cases and user stories
• Ensuring alignment between business needs and proposed features through documentation, presentations and workshops with relevant stakeholders
• Analysis of risks and issues, and proposal of mitigation actions
• Collaboration with other business analysts, architects, business owners, project managers and external development partners

• Ability to participate in multilingual meetings and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with business stakeholders and IT development teams

Specific Expertise: 

• At least 10 years of experience in functional analysis; experience in the labour market domain is an asset
• Strong knowledge of structured methodologies for drafting and reviewing business requirements, with extensive experience in ensuring alignment between deliverables and initial business needs
• Extensive experience in release management, including planning, daily follow-up, quality control and support to the Project Manager
• At least 10 years of experience in IT development
