Are you interested in working and exploring the opportunities in the Logistics arena supporting the Royal Air Force? 

 

As a Logistics Operative within our clothing stores based at RAF Brize Norton, you will play a vital role in the logistical support of the Royal Air Force, helping to fulfil its operational and peacetime obligations.

 

A physically demanding role where you’ll be responsible for the distribution and handling of stock as well as ensuring accurate stock control. You will be greeting customers and engaging with people when they are collecting their orders. We want you to have strong customer service skills and attention to detail to help us deliver the best customer service possible whilst ensuring accuracy of stock holdings.

 

Successful candidate will be required to be on-call on a rotational basis (this attracts an on-call payment as well as overtime payments for any additional hours worked)


 
Main accountabilities:
 

  • Delivery of excellent customer service to customers.
  • Distribution of clothing and protective equipment items to customers via counter collect and smart lockers.
  • Frequent use of IT systems to manage emails and stock control.
  • Weekend and evening on-call requirement (paid).
  • Storekeeping and day to day management of stock.

 
 
What you'll need to do the role:

 

  • Experience in a logistics environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Cat B UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Experienced in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
