£28,000 per annum + Excellent Corporate Benefits Package + on-call pay
We are recruiting for an FM Services Officer to join our FM team at Derwentside Immigration Removal Centre female only accommodation, where we are responsible for all aspects of detainee safety, security and welfare provision, facilities management and catering.
A large part of this role is supporting the Engineers with system reactive and preventative maintenance, additional works to all aspects of security systems, fire detection, life safety equipment and any other equipment within your capacities. We are looking for a team player who is keen to support all round - you will be expected help with painting and decorating around the site, advantageous experience is working knowledge of Plumbing and/or Electrics.
You will work as part of a close-knit team and deliver on accountabilities including
- Advise the Line Manager of the progress on the contract
- Participate and comply with material ordering and procurement procedures
- Assist in multi trade support of other members of the FM service team in completing work

What you'll need to do the job
Although working as part of the wider FM Team, you will work autonomously to carry our works at times so you must enjoy working independently and have a flexible attitude to getting stuck in and delivering where required!
