We are looking for an IT Service Desk person who will support the activities on our client’s side in Darmstadt and work on a temporary contract of an initial period of 6 months, with part-time work of 20 hours per week. The main focus of the role will be to support the preparation and deployment of Windows 11 laptops using Microsoft Autopilot.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare new and existing laptops for deployment using Windows Autopilot.
  • Assign devices to appropriate Autopilot profiles and verify configuration settings.
  • Perform Windows 11 provisioning, including resets and re-enrolments.
  • Validate successful device enrolment into Intune and Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Liaise with the IT Service Desk for reporting, escalation, and user coordination.

Skills

 

  • Basic hands-on experience with Windows Autopilot or Windows OS installation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, and modern device management concepts.
  • Familiarity with Windows 11 setup, provisioning packages, and device enrolment steps.
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on hardware and deployment issues.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail when preparing devices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work independently under light supervision.
  • Good spoken and written proficiency in English (B2 minimum).

 

 

Desirable Skills

  • Basic PowerShell knowledge (e.g., retrieving hardware hash, device info).
  • Understanding of device compliance, policies, and software distribution in Intune.
  • Previous experience in a service desk or IT support role.
